Any ideas my gun is blocked about half way down the barrel with a miss shaped ball Ive tried aworm and thats failed ,I can't get the breech block out and im not heating the barrel as its still got powder in it

Hi Spanky, have you tried the other wormy thing with a "drill" end on it. That one is designed for drilling in to the ball so you can pull it out. It may even be called a ball puller. Good luck with it Andy EDIT Yup, them's the thing Ron and Gary sell them I'd imagine 2nd EDIT Have you tried to get Geoff to suck it out while heating the barrel? If you do, make sure you video it as it would be worth money internationally

Have you considered letting it off with the ball only half way down that might shift it.

im not heating the barrel as its still got powder in it Perhaps heating the outside of the barrel with boiling water might be sufficient to shift it with out applying so much heat at the breech that it cooks off?

well ive tried the wormie thing and it didnt work and firing the thing as is ,is just crazy(sam your definitly a marine ..welcome aboard) Ive aquired a 1.5 m drill bit 16mm im going to give it a go lead being softer than steel it should work tell you what, it must have been a bugger back then and out in the bush chin chin or BOOOOOOOOOM again

Have you considered letting it off with the ball only half way down that might shift it. We need to have a serious b****y chat about gun safety. DO NOT IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TRY AND BLOW IT OUT!!!!!! If you can't get it out let me have the barrel I have some mega long drills and may be able to drill through the ball.

well you'll be pleased to know the misshaped ball is out don't worry tod ill never listen ot sam even if he is a good shot Ill bring the plug with me to the 1st bash Also now got a wide range of slug removal tools great well try and sort another shoot out being that rockingham is cancelled chin chin ding
