Hope everyone got home safely and hopefully had an enjoyable time on this side of the Irish Sea. Was good to see a lot of new faces over. A pity the 47th couldn't make it, but I'm sure we'll see the Lancashire Lads again in the future.

If any NFOE members who attended the events at the Folk Park would like to write up an article on their experiences for Outpost I can include it in the next issue.
Cheers

Hi Ian - Christine asked us to put an article together for you will send through asap with some great pictures of all.
Just like to say a big thanks to Cameron, Richard and Mary& her team for looking after us all for the week! All of us in the 36th had a great time I think there were around 60 reenactors in all at the event, and all a very freindly bunch too, the weather was superb, the food great and everyone worked together to make a really great event. With a weeks worth of skirmishes we got much better at foiling those nindians. and the pitch fork & frying pan killings of those banshees were definetly giving them something to think about!

A big thankyou to all members who came from the Ulster-American Folk Park and the Minstrel Boys. You helped make it a really big and enjoyable event and you certainly put everything into it. Hope to see you all again. Cameron

I was the Italian Indian attached to the German Iroquois group, great thanks to them also for their friendship.
