I have had this invitation from Peter Weiser of the Regiment de la Sarre in Saarland, Germany: Dear Friends You are hereby invited to a battle reenactment in September 2008 please let your comrades in arms know. Please be aware that the event takes place during the 7 Years' War, so it goes without saying that all presentation and equipment must be consistent with this period If you have any questions, or need further information, please ask me I sincerely hope to see as many of you as possible at Amöneburg Yours Peter PS Vive le Roy! Our group the french regiment „La Sarre“, whose speaker I am, is about to organize a new reenactment of the 7 years war in Amöneburg (Hessen/Germany). It will take place from 09-19-08 to 09-21-08 and we want to invite you to join our battle. Amöneburg is rather in the center of germany, about the middle between Frankfurt and Kassel. In 1763, on the twenty-first of september, there the last battle of the seven years war between the allies of Britain/Hannover/Hessen and the french warriors took place. The reenactment will be on the original site called “Brücker Mühle”, the camp in the ruin of the fortress in the old part of Amöneburg. The area is really beautiful and will be a colourful frame for our event. What do you think about it? Are you interested to participate? How many people? Please tell me if you know about other interested groups. We urgently need some reenforcement of the french and english troops. Hoping and waiting for your response Peter Weiser Regiment La Sarre www.regiment-la-sarre.net

Hi Paul, Look in to the logistics and I'll see what the ginger one has to say. My trouble is I'm off to Germany the month after for Leipzig so I have to watch the pennies. If it's done as a road trip it may be more do-able. And if Mike doesn't come, it's because he loves Sheep more than he loves us

Andy seeing lani this week end sounds like steve wants to join choice Fantoosh...! He'll take our average waist measurement down while at the same time increasing our general competance. Choice...!!!! (Although I think it may still be beyond Steve's skills to make Geoff look good)
