Unfortunatley the 36th will be at Avoncroft, but a few of us went to Rockingham last year and traded so there should be a good amount of traders to pick up stuff for kit and last years beer tents were great. Hope you guys have a great weekend of it.

From what I know Le RaT are either at Avoncroft or Kelmarsh with the SK.

Many thanks to everyone who came along - we had 18 muskets, 2 officers and 7 civilians and it gave us a chance to introduce the new 'all singing all dancing' show 'n' tell/firing display. This worked really well and I'm sure we will be using it again in conjuction with our skirmishes. It was all rather impressive and polished by the time we got to Monday.
Socially it was a great weekend too - a good campsite, splendid trader's market and a lively beer tent - and the partisan support from the Rangers during the grudge Britain v France international trap-ball challenge added a new edge to the proceedings!!
Once again, thanks to all those for coming along to the support the event - it was a winner.

Whoops! Forget to mention. It was great to see TWO brand new members make their first event - and settle in as though they had been there all their lives. Fantastic.

We all had a cracking time, Reuben is very much looking forward to joining the French solders and playing trapball (don't expect too much though, it's more enthusiasm than skill) , and we all learned a few things, like next time take a hot water bottle. Just kidding. ;D Next stop for us is Gilbert White's. See you there!!!!
