This is now available on DVD-Is it worth getting/renting- I didn't get to see it at the cinema.
I have lots of things to sew and would appreciate having something good to watch while I do so.
Best,
Judith

Watched it on the plane back from Virginia...I can confirm the scenery round Jamestown is authentic!!....seriously,I think it looks beautiful, but does drag with very little dialogue..possibly not the best chioce while sewing! Steve

I too watched the movie, scenery was gorgeous, the film was quite slow, but in the end watchable, a bit artie, bit of love, lots a nindians, great location, tall ships, lots of long grass and wind, trees, and sky! Colin farrel always seems to have somewhere better to be in the fact that globe trotting was a far better adventure for him than true love..or was it one of those love bubbles in time coz in the end she chose the better of the two men, although it cost her life... I think it'll be fine to sew to!
