I have decided to make this part of the forum a living library of links to suppliers of stuff members may need. (Soon i will be doing another thread on kit suppliers). I have moved Steve's great links here from the main board and I welcome anyone to post any recommended non-fiction books/sellers on subjects such as uniform, woodcraft, histories and accounts etc.

www.mohicanpress.com/mo08000.htmlTry this Website for some good articles (mainly concerning Fort William Henry) written in quite an opionated style! Also general books on the period from Osprey Liberty or Death: Wars that forged a Nation is a combination of the Essential Histories series on the F&I Wars, Rev War and the War of 1812 in one volume and is available for about £15 from Amazon. Louis XV's Army Books 1-5 give a good overview of French Troops Uniforms and organisation. The Campaign Series Books on Monongahela and Ticonderoga There is also a re-print of the old Montcalm's Army title although this is a little dated. All available from www.ospreypublishing.com although www.amazon.co.uk can probably do them cheaper.

Oo!
Stephen Brumwell 'White Devil', blummin great. In case you have perused before, it's about Roger's Rangers and the St Francis Raid primarily, but at least the first 3rd of the book is given to the development of the Rangers and their opponents during the main battles and skirmishes during early years of the F&I.
I'm still reading at the mo, but I intend to give it a more thorough review when i've done. x

Hey,
speaking of Brumwell's 'Redcoats', check out the awesome pen drawings of Injuns by Townshend. It's Andy B loking skulky! Anyway, his footnote cites a book called 'the Townshend Album' or something like that, and I'd fallover myself/over somebody else/possibly commit murder, to have that book, or at least look at it. Methinks it's c.1970s but havn't got redcoats to hand to check. Anyone know of it?!
Cheers, Lu-seat x
