I have been constructing a cunning scenario for our woodland skirmish which hopefully will work out well. It would be good if we can squeeze in a quick rehersal on Saturday morning though. It will prove an interesting challenge, particularly for the French, in trying to keep control of their men - but I think it should be fun - and the weather is looking good too.

Thanks to all who made Bentley, great weather, great beer at good prices,super skirmish.....................and Spider Pig met some new friends...got a two new hats...and had a ride on the train............great time had by all

THE BEST!! Great battles, great living history, great night (it was Dingo, it was), great cameraderie, Great Event. And we're going back next year. If you missed it this time then don't miss it next time!

Anything under 4 hrs is a really good event (Cowdray- I was home by 9:40pm- woohoo)

5 hrs for us......Most of which involved 19mph on the M23/M25.....'Tho I do like the new-ish services on the M40.....didn't even TRY to get round to the M1! Steve
