Just got back from the Royal Green Jackets Museum, Winchester, left our mark for both 3/60Th and NFOE,always take a Marketing Document out with you . Great stuff on the Royal Americans and our chosen period, £3.00 entry, best £3.00 you can spend .
They have a Temp Exhibit on the 17Th August to 19Th September called 'Conquest of Canada and the Battle of Quebec', it has to be a must visit if you can.

Yes,one of the best regimental ones I've been to...... BTW,my local church bell in London, used to be the alarm bell at Quebec...Or that's what local history believes........... Steve

Not every museum where you have a game that involves shooting a Baker rifle at the French.........

That was my first (but not my only) experience of firing a Baker
Always a superb Museum, and I'll visit again for the Quebec exhibit,- thanks for the heads-up Colin
On my first visit the curator gave me several Rifle Brigade buttons, and a shoulder flash.
Best,
Judith

Now my old mate Jamey was a regimental piper for the Royal Green jacket's when he was in the mob.
(Geoff and Dingo, yes, Jamey from Farquharson's)
Not being a regiment that has pipers, when they found out they had one, they made good use of him anyway.
