I guess everyone has had a chance to recover from the weekend now. So, did everyone enjoy themselves?
From my commentary vantage point on Sunday I thought it looked pretty d**ned good. Dappled sunlight through the trees, lots of smoke and the war whoops of a Indian battle 'somwhere off in the trees' were really atmospheric.
A lot of advance planning goes into these battles and it is great when it all comes together so that both menbers and the audience really enjoy it.
Well done everyone.

Might I recommend that in similar scenarios, the two opposing forces fight side-on to the crowd line? I for one am not fond of fighting with my back to the crowd, plus it limits what they can see of the French and makes any retreat for us difficult.

Hi David
Thanks for the input. Actually we have a similar situation at Painshill, with the British starting the battle with the crowd behind them. But I've relooked at the scenario and I think it will be possible to 'turn' the lines as the battle develops so the main confrontation can be across the frontage of the audience. Leave it with me.
Cheers
Ian
