The Redcoated Hoardes of 36th-ers who live in the Wild Waste Lands, known to you as north of Watford. Will be at Blast's with our brothers in arms of NFOE. If its as good a jolly as Bentley...then bring it on baby! ;D

Hi Lightbob.
Any idea how many 36th are planning on going to 'Blasts'? I'm trying to put a scenario together at the moment and it would be useful to know what I've got to play with!
Cheers

I would say, going on what was said after Kelmarsh and our inter-emails: 4 maybe 5 muskets a civilian and an odd indian We will be camping with you as opposed to Lace Wars. Simon, a rather chubby Grenadier!

Dingo - if you're going to the trouble to come all that way for one day you might as well stay for two! How long does it take you to pack for a holiday anyway!?

Greatly looking forward to blasts too.
Any of you chaps that are looking to take part in the Lace Wars skirmish as well? Pulteney's have spare Redcoat kit that we can help you out with. As our Skirmish is the first one at 11.30, come and find me Friday evening is possible.
With the 2 societies working together, we should produce some good memorable skirmishes.

Many thanks for a splendid event, inspired skirmishes which were fun to do and interesting for the public.
RE: Simon, we saw him this morning at Southampton general, he was just about to go in for an op to have his foot put back together. broken bone to foot, ligament totally away from bone, ball joint hanging free. unknown how long on a recovery time until the op has been done, 6 weeks to 6 months on a worst case. So we bought him some porn and he said to also say thanks for another fabulous NFOE event , we'll let people know how he gets on when we know.

Just to clarify Al's email for those who weren't there. Simon of the 36th had an accidental 'battle injury' on the Sunday when someone fell on his ankle. Just one of those very unlucky incidents. All at NFOE wish Simon a speedy recovery.
Cheers
Ian

As mentioned above he sends his thanks for a great weekend with NFOE.
