So, did everyone have a good time at the weekend - fantastic site, great weather and a wooded wonderland for a private evening battle. What more could you want.
And the good news is that Painshill thought we were great - and want us back in 2011. So those of you who were foolish enough to miss it this year have another chance to sample the delights next year.
Salut! La Plume

Great news. Had been wanting to do an event there again since I was there with the NA back in 2006 (when we got banned after setting it on fire ). Last weekend was one of the best events I've done in a long while, so a repeat will be very welcome. One question though - can we not keep the cars somewhere other than next to the LH camp? Not like there wasn't enough space.

I can't praise the site enough, what a wonderful place, very secure, very scenic, and woodland ambush thrown in. All leading to a very enjoyable weekend. I look forward to returning to Painshill next year.

Lovely site, so much space giving so much scope.
2 very successful days and a very enjoyable private skirmish on the Saturday. I know SJ enjoyed herself too.
Would love to go back and will echo Andrews comments about the cars. We struggle enough as it is with laziness in standards in certain areas about the camp. Having a Car & Caravan park next to the LH area. No excuse for it. Things like things should really be a thing of the past.
Niggles aside. GREATLY looking forward to going back and fingers crossed Colin gets his way for the battle location.
O and a special well done to the 60th this weekend. The camp was very enjoyable whilst being very Military when required. I think we all made a great effort which only added to the weekends enjoyment.

I has hacked off about that parking too. The parking area was clearly marked on the Warning Order. I put out a message for people to move their cars but few responded. And I had too many other things to worry about rather than go around searching for the culprits. I can promise it won't happen again next year.

Hi Ian
We'll liase with you and Mike Todd about suitable alternative parking for the caravans in advance of next year's event.
Cheers
Ian
