I'm not sure how to describe Mount and Blade, it's the same as reenacting but without the hangover and Dingo's cooking (actually the first shot looks like the effects of eating it).
I know that few of you are interested in PC games so I won't go on about it but basically this is a mod that was released not long after I ran out of time to play the original.
I'll just leave these here and say it's really quite good.
