The International Living History Fair (ILHF) is only two weeks away. If you want any thing putting by for collection now is the time to say. I'll have the usual large range of historic shoes, water bottles, buckles, belts, pouches, etc (check my Facebook page out www.facebook.com/pages/Foxblade-Trading-and-Re-enactment-Shoes/126874654101903?fref=ts) New this year tinplates and cups and British Army (Napoleonic period) cartridge boxes both with and with out tin boxes and wood blocks. As requested I also have tins of clear dubbin for treating all your leatherwork. If you want to be measured for new shoes or want to discuss a particular project come along and have a chat. Remember my bespoke shoes are completely hand made, hand cut, hand sewn and hand finished. I use no machines! I use no synthetics, all the bespoke shoes are British sourced leather and sewn with waxed linen thread. I know only one other shoemaker who makes shoes like this (who I am happy recommend if you want some thing I don't make) and as far as I know I am the only qualified shoemaker on the re-enactment circuit. I have the biggest stock of off the shelf re-enactment/historic shoes in the UK which are made to my designs and are all based on contemporary examples, these are on my web site www.re-enactment-shoes.co.uk/
