Just had a few more 'non-member' enquiries about this event, so far we have 4 people coming who aren't members, I think this could be a great opportunity for a bit of recruitiment (and not from other units either, these are new to the society!). You can never predict numbers for these things but it would be a shame to pass up the chance to get some new blood into nfoe.
I would urge members to come if they possibly can, I have the space and I'm quite happy for as many people as possible to come. I'm sure it will be fun.
Note: Dingo how are you doing with the press gang work?

Biffa or Dingo, I've been meaning to ask about kit. I've only got 1745 Jacobite clothing and an ECW uniform. What should I bring?

see the world (north american scrub) use lastest advancements in technology (maple cannoes 1728 muskets and axes) meet interseting people( native americans, DEAD colonials DEAD british DEAD dutch and DEAD germans) try new foods(jerk meat and the old family favorite pea and pork soup)

I might join the Marine but as a cadet d'aigulette as I've got delusions of officerhood and grandeur. I'm still fighting the urge to join the l'Armee with their catchy slogan "Join l'Armee, Be the Best (at running away)". Hmmm choices, choices.

Redders!,
You redcoated swine! I'm being orfentik and re-enacting the fact the Jacobites were poorly equiped and poorly trained. My ECW matchlock always go bang because I'm the highly trained elite of my Regiment in the King's Army.

Just you wait until I get my M1728 I'll be going bang all the time. At the moment with my record with flintlocks suggests that I should have joined the redcoated ranks of 36th.
