The thought of you with a gun aint the issue, trust me.

You wouldn't understand with your ugly brut Bess, the French M1728 is beautiful yet practical instrument of death. I wouldn't expect a hamfisted redcoat to understand.

You didn't mention the click stick is a Bess did you and that the Flemings are particularly good at going click too mainly because they are armed with inferior Besses and not its french counter-part.

Returning briefly to the sensible theme of this thread. I believe you have breeches, What about your new IP justacorps? I will bring a couple of spare jackets and tricorn. Do you have a knitted bobble-hat? Knife? Axe? (sthingy? anything to set furtrap/kill redcoats with?)

I have a knife, folk and epee du soldat. I'm waiting for Gary from Derbyshire Arms to get back to me on the musket (the money is in the bank metophorically burning a hole in my pocket) and Tod is sorting my leatherwork out. I'm awaiting on replies from a hat supplier for a tricorn but I have a brimmed hat and a davy crocket-like fur hat (my sister will be bring back a 'coon skin version latter this year from Alaska). DB is still putting the final details to my IP uniform so I don't have it.
